Individual Therapy
We provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. We specialize in a variety of areas, including trauma, play, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused therapies.
Group Therapy
We provide ongoing groups for different ages throughout the year. Our children and adolescent groups focus on managing behaviors, anger management, social skills, and effective communication. Our adult groups are process groups that provide support from peers and address managing emotions and behaviors.
Family Therapy
We provide family therapy to aid families with building stronger bonds, increasing effective communication, and understanding how to provide appropriate support to one another.
Couples Counseling
Couples counseling offers a variety of support for couples, including pre-marital counseling and "trouble in paradise" counseling. However, we find that preventative maintenance counseling for couples is most effective at helping duos strengthen their bonds and enjoy their relationship.
Consultation
Psychological Testing
Comprehensive psychological testing is offered for children, adolescents, and adults. This evaluation generally consist of cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and projective measures. We also provide pre-surgery bariatric evaluations, ADHD evaluations, and psychoeducational evaluations.
Clinical Supervision
Supervision is offered to pre-doctoral and post-doctoral clinicians seeking licensure as a psychologist in NC.
